After adopting a stray kitten she started showing signs of ringworm within a few weeks..I brought her to the Elk Grove Pet Clinic a day after I noticed the small spots on her fur. Sure enough it was ringworm, which has been really difficult b/c the poor kitty’s been quarantined to our spare bedroom for a month now. 🙁 The vet tech’s here are awesome and have answered any and all of my questions. The ringworm treatment has been expensive and intensive (topical 3x a day, oral meds once a day and baths 2x a week), but we’re bringing her for her recheck next Monday and are hopeful all the meds work – so Meeko can finally terrorize the Christmas tree as any kitty would. 🙂
